TOUR DESCRIPTION
Orizaba Peak’s remote nature is just stunning as its ascending trails. Discover the natural diversity and microclimates of this volcano on this hiking trail that we have designed for you. The tour is ideal for people who exercise regularly.
We start the hike and take the same route as the Waterfall Route (Level 1) from Miguel Hidalgo in Puebla, we’ll visit 2 beautiful waterfalls that are created by one of the last glaciers in Mexico, the Jamapa glacier, in the north face of the Pico de Orizaba volcano.
After the waterfalls, we will continue climbing, and you will see how nature changes. In the mountains and volcanoes, all the trees, flowers and animals adapt to the height.
As you go up, you will see how nature changes, starting with a lot of trees in the lower parts and sandbanks in the higher areas. In this zone, you will have unique views of the top of Pico de Orizaba and its glacier, they will take your breath away.

- To stay comfortable in the mountain, you need to DRESS IN LAYERS. It is recommended to bring 3 layers:
- Layer. Long sleeve shirt DRYFIT
- Layer. Vest, sweatshirt or a thin jacket to keep you warm. E.g. PolarTec
- Layer. Protective clothing from rain and/or wind (waterproof)
- WEAR normal pants (like leggings) or hiking pants.
- Tennis shoes, trail runners or hiking shoes
- 25 to 35 liter backpack
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, buff and a hat
