TOUR DESCRIPTION
This excursion is perfect for people who want a quiet walk in nature or those who are hiking beginners.
The adventure begins in one of the highest little towns in Mexico, Miguel Hidalgo Puebla. Once on the trail, you’ll walk in a natural road, and with our local mountain guide, you will see the diversity of trees and plants in the Pico de Orizaba National Park, and in some sections of the trail you’ll have beautiful views of the summit.
Pico de Orizaba summit has an amazing glacier, one of the last glaciers in Mexico.
Thanks to the glacier the water runs in springwaters creating waterfalls. On this tour, we’ll visit two of these delightful waterfalls.

- To stay comfortable in the mountain, you need to DRESS IN LAYERS. It is recommended to bring 3 layers:
- Layer. Long sleeve shirt DRYFIT
- Layer. Vest, sweatshirt or a thin jacket to keep you warm. E.g. PolarTec
- Layer. Protective clothing from rain and/or wind (waterproof)
- WEAR normal pants (like leggings) or hiking pants.
- Tennis shoes, trail runners or hiking shoes
- 25 to 35 liter backpack
- Sunglasses, sunscreen, buff and a hat
